It focuses on isometric movements, small pulses, and stretching to strengthen and tone various muscle groups, particularly the core, thighs, glutes, and arms with the use of bamboo poles, resistance bands, gliders and light weights.

Do I Need Dance Experience to Attend Bamboo Barre Classes?No dance experience is required. Bamboo Barre classes are designed for individuals of all fitness levels and backgrounds. Our experienced instructors provide modifications to accommodate beginners while challenging those with more experience.

What Should I Wear to a Bamboo Barre Class?Wear comfortable workout clothing that allows for a full range of motion. Many participants prefer leggings or capris and a form-fitting top. Grip socks are mandatory for hygiene and safety, and they can be purchased at our studio.

Do I Need to Bring Any Equipment?We provide all the necessary equipment, including mats, resistance bands, balls, and hand weights. Just bring yourself, water, sticky grip socks and a positive attitude. If you have specific preferences, feel free to bring your own mat.

What Can I Expect in a Bamboo Barre Class?A typical class includes a warm-up, followed by lower body targeted exercises with the Bamboo Barre, on the mat, and sometimes using light hand weights or other props. Expect a mix of strength training, stretching, and core work set to energizing music.

What If I Am Late For Class?For the safety and consideration of all participants, late entry into Bamboo Barre classes will not be permitted once the class has started. We recommend arriving at least 10-15 minutes before the scheduled class time to allow for check-in, setting up your space, and any necessary preparations. This ensures a smooth transition into the class without disruptions. To maintain the flow of the class and minimize distractions, the studio doors will be locked promptly at the start time. Unfortunately, latecomers will not be able to enter the class once it has begun.
